Set Of 3 Doom Laundry Hampers With Lids
Woven from the broad fronds of the date palm, these baskets are built using a coarse, overlapping stitch that gives the walls a supple, skin-like toughness. Unlike the rigid mountain grasses, the doum leaf allows for a heaving, undulating rim; a natural byproduct of the hand-tension as the weave spirals outward. Finished with stout leather or braided palm, they are heavy-duty gear meant for the shifting weight of linens, wood, or the day’s haul. They sit low and wide, a grounded piece of utility that softens and bronzes with age.
