Tamegrout Tall Pipe Vase
Made in the Draa Valley at the last settled ground before the Sahara, these vessels come from a place where methods are conserved in use. Riverbed clay is shaped by hand, dried in the sun, glazed with a guarded mineral mixture, and fired in earth kilns. Greens, ochres, blacks, and raw tones carry drips and scorch marks, each piece bearing the sole conditions of its making. Decorative only and neither food-safe nor watertight; fresh flowers should be held in a liner.
